Raw material preparation

 

 

We use high-quality HDPE or PP granules as raw materials before producing high-quality plastic trash cans with lids. These raw materials have good weather resistance, corrosion resistance and strength, which can ensure that the trash cans produced can be used for a long time in various environments. Injection molding

 

 

Mold preparation

Before production, we will first customize the injection mold that precisely matches the size and shape of the mobile garbage bin. The mold is generally divided into a barrel mold and a lid mold.

 

Injection molding process

During production, we first put the mixed plastic raw materials into the barrel of the injection molding machine, and then move the raw materials forward through the rotation of the screw. At the same time, the external heating device of the barrel heats the plastic raw materials to gradually melt them into a fluid state. Under the high pressure of the injection molding machine, the molten plastic is quickly injected into the mold cavity, filling the entire mold space, ensuring that the plastic fully fills the detailed parts of the mold, and then cools it to solidify and form the initial shape of the trash can.

 

 

Demolding and preliminary trimming

 

 

Demolding: When the plastic is completely solidified, the mold is opened through the mold opening and closing system of the injection molding machine, and then the molded trash can is pushed out of the mold through the ejector device.

 

Finishing: After demoulding, the trash can may have burrs, flashes and other excess parts. We will use trimming machines, sandpaper and other tools to perform manual or mechanical trimming to make the edges of the large plastic garbage bin smooth and flat to meet the appearance quality requirements.

We have two printing methods, namely monochrome printing and color printing.

Single-color printing: silk screen printing, hot stamping, mold printing.

Rubber wheels are usually made by vulcanization. The mixed rubber raw materials are placed in a mold, and the rubber undergoes a vulcanization reaction under high temperature and high pressure, and then solidifies and forms. Polyurethane wheels are usually made by casting, where the mixed polyurethane raw materials are injected into the mold and solidified to form a wheel.

Installation of the lid

For snap-on lids, align the lid with the corresponding position of the barrel body and press to make the snaps fit tightly; for lids fixed with screws, tighten the connection between the lid and the barrel body with screws to ensure a firm connection and smooth opening and closing of the lid. Some plastic trash can lids are connected to the barrel body with hinges. When installing, the hinge position needs to be adjusted to ensure that the opening angle of the lid meets the design requirements.

Handle installation

Plastic handles are usually fixed through the installation holes reserved at the corresponding positions of the barrel body using screws or buckles. Metal handles may need to be welded to specific positions on the barrel body, or connected by bolts. Tension tests should be performed after installation to ensure that the handles are firmly installed and can withstand the tension during normal use.

Wheel installation

Common installation methods include bolt fixing and snap-on installation. When bolt fixing, pre-drill holes on the trash can base and wheel bracket, connect the wheel bracket to the trash can base through bolts and nuts, and tighten the bolts to ensure a firm connection. For snap-on installation, design matching snap-on structures on the trash can base and wheel bracket, align the wheel bracket with the snap-on position on the base, press or rotate it hard, and make the snap-on fit tightly.

Installation of pedal device

Carefully install the components of the pedal device, and adjust the pedal stroke and force according to the design requirements. After installation, perform repeated pedal tests to ensure that the pedal device is flexible and can smoothly control the opening and closing of the barrel cover.

 

 

Quality Inspection Test

 

 

We will conduct quality inspection on the finished plastic garbage bins with lids , which mainly includes the following processes.

 

Appearance inspection: Check whether the surface of the trash can is smooth and flat, and whether there are obvious scratches, dents, bubbles, color difference and other defects; whether the printed pattern is clear and complete, and whether the color is accurate; whether the accessories are installed firmly and properly, and whether the components are tightly connected.

 

Dimension detection: We will use measuring tools to measure the height, diameter, depth, capacity and other key dimensions of the trash can to ensure consistency with the design drawings and product standards.

 

Load-bearing test: We simulate the state of a 10 gallon plastic trash can full of trash, gradually add standard weights to the bin, and observe the deformation of the bin. Then we record the weight values ​​when the bin begins to deform, crack, or break under different loads, and compare them with industry standards or product design requirements to evaluate the load-bearing capacity of the trash can.

 

Drop test: We drop the 20 gallon plastic trash can from a certain height (determined according to product standards) to the ground to observe whether the trash can is broken, deformed, or has loose accessories. We perform drop tests on empty trash cans and trash cans filled with simulated trash in different directions (such as top, bottom, side, etc.) to test the performance of the trash can under the drop impact that may be encountered during transportation and daily use.

 

Weather resistance test: We also simulate outdoor environmental conditions, such as high temperature, low temperature, ultraviolet radiation, rain, etc., to test the weather resistance of the plastic garbage bins for sale. The trash cans are placed in an artificial weather aging test chamber and cycled according to the set program. After a certain period of time, we check whether the appearance and physical properties (such as strength, toughness, etc.) of the trash cans have changed significantly, and evaluate their service life in different environments.

 

Sealing test: For medical waste bin with sealing requirements, such as medical waste containers for collecting liquid waste or hazardous waste, we will conduct sealing tests. A certain amount of water or simulated liquid is injected into the medical biohazard waste bin, and after closing the lid, the plastic waste bin is tilted and turned over to observe whether there is liquid leakage, to ensure that the trash can will not leak during use and pollute the environment.
