What Is The Difference Between An Injection-molded Pallet And A Blow-molded Pallet

1. Production process

Injection molding: that is, thermoplastic injection molding, this method is to melt the plastic material, and then inject it into the film cavity. Once the molten plastic enters the mold, it is cooled and shaped into a cavity-like shape. The resulting shape is often the final product and no further processing is required before installation or use as a final product.

Blow molding: also known as hollow blow molding, a rapidly developing plastic processing method. The tubular plastic parison obtained by extrusion or injection molding of thermoplastic resin is placed in a split mold while it is hot (or heated to a softened state), and compressed air is introduced into the parison immediately after closing the mold to blow the plastic parison. It expands and sticks closely to the inner wall of the mold, and after cooling and demoulding, various hollow products are obtained.

2. Production equipment

The injection tray is molded by a large injection molding machine at one time, and the product is strong and durable. The blow molding tray is formed by hollow blow molding with a blow molding machine, but more material is cut during the manufacturing process; in terms of the manufacturing time of a single product, the injection molding tray time is shorter.

3. Product structure

There will be blow molding holes on the surface of the blow molding tray, and all the centers are vacant. Only double-sided pallets can be produced, but single-sided pallets cannot be produced, and the product feeding direction is generally two-way feeding; and the appearance surface of the injection molding tray can be divided into Flat, grid and other shapes, the bottom has a variety of structures such as Chuanzi, Tianzi, seven corners, nine feet, etc. The product can be produced on one side and both sides, which can meet the needs of customers in different industries. More flexibility.

4. Use environment

The different manufacturing processes of the two pallets directly affect the usage environment of the pallets. Generally speaking, blow molding pallets are mainly used in harsh environments and high-intensity operations, while injection molding pallets can be used in various environments and industries such as flat storage, three-dimensional storage, and cold storage, meeting the needs of different industries.
