The Warehouse Rackable Use Plastic Pallet is developed for storing goods on warehouse racks and for repeated handling between production, storage and distribution areas. Its 1200 × 1000 mm footprint, three-runner base and steel-reinforced structure make it suitable for operations where pallets must remain stable while supported by rack beams.

Unlike a pallet placed on a flat warehouse floor, a rack-mounted pallet receives support only at specific points. This creates greater bending stress across the centre of the pallet. To address this requirement, the pallet incorporates 7 kg of steel reinforcement, improving structural stiffness and helping control deflection during rack storage.

With a static load of up to 6 tons, a dynamic load of up to 1.5 tons and a racking load of up to 1.2 tons, this model can support warehouse storage, forklift handling and reusable logistics under the specified operating conditions.

The pallet is rated for three different loading conditions, and each figure has a separate meaning.
The static load of up to 6 tons applies when the pallet is stationary on a flat, level and sufficiently rigid floor. Under this condition, most of the pallet base receives direct support.
The dynamic load of up to 1.5 tons applies while the pallet is being lifted or transported with suitable material-handling equipment. Fork position, lifting speed, floor condition and load stability can all influence performance during movement.
The racking load of up to 1.2 tons applies when the pallet is positioned on rack beams without continuous support underneath. Because the pallet is partially suspended, racking is generally the most demanding of the three conditions.

These ratings assume that the goods are distributed appropriately across the pallet. A concentrated load, such as heavy equipment resting on several small contact points, can create much greater local stress than evenly arranged cartons of the same total weight.

Some plastic pallets are suitable for floor storage and transportation but are not designed to carry loads while suspended across rack beams. The Warehouse Rackable Use Plastic Pallet is built differently. Its three-runner base provides stable support, while the internal steel reinforcement increases stiffness across the load-bearing structure.

This construction helps the pallet maintain more reliable support when the centre section is not in direct contact with the floor. It is particularly useful for warehouses storing relatively heavy packaged goods, industrial components, raw materials or finished products for extended periods.

The term "rackable" does not mean that the pallet is suitable for every racking system. Selective racks, drive-in racks and automated storage systems support pallets in different ways. Even two warehouses using the same pallet size may have different beam spans and support positions.
Before ordering, Enlightening Pallet should receive the rack type, clear distance between the beams, beam width, maximum unit-load weight and expected storage duration. Information about the goods is equally important because cartons, bags, drums and rigid containers distribute their weight differently.
The forklift model and fork dimensions should also be checked. If the pallet will run on conveyors or in an automated storage and retrieval system, the position of the runners, conveyor spacing, sensor locations and transfer points must be evaluated together.
This application review helps prevent a common procurement mistake: choosing a pallet according to its footprint and static load while overlooking the actual support conditions inside the warehouse.
