Injection Moulding For Plastic Waste Bin

As one of the professional plastic waste bin manufacturers, we are committed to providing high-quality plastic garbage bins to our customers. Our range of plastic trash cans includes 2-wheel bins, 4-wheel bins, medical waste bins, and more. In order to help buyers have a deeper understanding of our product quality, we will now focus on the production process of plastic waste bin injection molding.

Raw Material Selection & Preparation

Raw Material Selection & Preparation

The plastic waste bins from ENLIGHTENING PALLET are primarily made from 100% HDPE or PP materials. Both HDPE and PP are environmentally friendly and sustainable. Compared to other types of waste bins, plastic bins have a shorter production time-typically around five minutes per bin.

Color powder mixing

To meet customers' customized color requirements for garbage bins, we add high-quality color masterbatch to HDPE or PP raw materials, offering a variety of color options such as yellow, green, red, and blue.

To ensure thorough mixing of the color masterbatch with HDPE/PP materials, we also use high-speed mixing equipment, which guarantees an even color distribution and enhances the overall appearance and consistency of the garbage bins.

Automatic feeding system

Automatic Feeding System

Next, we use the automatic feeding system to transport the mixed raw materials to the hopper of the injection molding machine. During this feeding process, we seal it to ensure a clean and efficient production process while preventing the raw materials from getting wet or contaminated.

Injection molding

The mixed plastic pellets are melted at high temperatures and then injected all at once into newly developed molds using a large injection molding machine. The average wall thickness of our injection-molded plastic garbage bins is only 7 millimeters, with a smooth and seamless surface.

Cooling and demoulding

Cooling And Demoulding

After injection molding is completed, the mold is rapidly cooled by the cooling system, allowing the product to gradually solidify and take shape. Once cooling is finished, the automatic demolding system removes the waste bin from the mold and transfers it to the next process.

Trimming and deburring

After molding, the plastic waste bins may have burrs or excess material. We arrange staff to trim off any extra edges to ensure a clean and neat appearance, preventing issues such as sharp edges that may cause injury or unstable stacking.

Appearance and function inspection(quality inspection link)

Appearance And Function Inspection(Quality Inspection Link)

To ensure the delivery of high-quality plastic waste bins to our customers, we conduct strict quality inspections on each product, including:
• Appearance Inspection: Checking for color differences, bubbles, or cracks.
• Dimension Measurement: Ensuring the bin meets the customer's size requirements.
• Stacking Test: Confirming the bins can be stacked easily for storage and transportation.
• Wheel/Lid Function Check: Ensuring the wheels and lids are securely installed and operate smoothly.

Storage and packaging

We will neatly stack the trash cans that have passed quality inspection and place them in the warehouse, and then pack and ship them according to the customer's order requirements.
